MHPL understands that your privacy is important and is committed to protecting both, your privacy and personal information that you provide or input as you access and use materials on www.medihelpindia.in (“Site”) or the MediHelp mobile application (“App”), including Site or App registration or subscription pages or other websites that post a link to the Site or App. This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Site, App, products and services (together, the “Service” or “Services“). The Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we collect and use information so you can make an informed decision about using the Services.

MHPL may, in its discretion, amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. To ensure that you are able to remain informed about the information we collect and how we use it, material changes to this policy will be reflected here.

For the purpose of providing the Services including diagnostic tests and other medical services, we may also need to collect other personal information such as your physical and mental health conditions, sexual orientation, medical records and history, etc. You may, at your discretion, withhold information which is not mandatory for providing of Services.

Personal Information that you post to public areas of the Services or via your profile on a social media website (“Profile”) may become publicly available and is no longer considered Personal Information. For example, information you post in your Profile or any other interactive areas may be made publicly available and can potentially be viewed by anyone. Your posting to such public areas of the Services constitutes consent to share such information publicly, and you should assume that such information will be widely disseminated, including via search engines and other tools to locate information online (e.g., internet archive).

  • Administering the Services including, conducting of medical and diagnostic tests through third party service providers

  • Notifying you about other products and services offered by MHPL that we think may be to your interest

  • Providing a bespoke experience at the Site and App with the available MHPL tools and materials
  • Understanding the Site’s and App’s user population, identifying areas of interest and determining whether the Site or App is compatible with the technology used by a majority of our visitors
  • Measuring and improving the effectiveness of the MHPL marketing programs across different channels
  • Contacting you to deliver information about our products and services, advertisements, offers and notices
  • Improving web content and navigation
  • Improving customer support and service

Insofar as you have granted us consent to process your Personal Information for specific purposes, the lawfulness of such processing is based on your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time.

Other than such service providers, we do not share Personal Information with third parties unless (1) you have indicated to us that you wish to receive information from such parties; (2) you otherwise give us your consent to do so; or (3) in response to a request for information.

MARKETING

 If at any time, you prefer not to receive further communications from us in any or all forms you will have the ability to unsubscribe from such communications by means of a link provided in every e-mail that is sent by us to you. When subscribing to MHPL e-mail newsletters, you are given the option to select which promotions, news and other information you would like to receive at the time of sign up. You will have the option to unsubscribe from these communications.

 

SECURITY PROCESSES

 We have in place appropriate technological and operational security processes designed to protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Only authorized employees and contractors will have access to any data provided by you, and that access is limited by need. Each employee or contractor having access to any Personal Information is obligated to maintain its confidentiality.

MHPL endeavours to secure your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure by putting into place reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect. To protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person. COMPLIANCE WITH LAW

MHPL complies with all applicable privacy laws and regulations. MHPL may be compelled to surrender personal user or customer information to legal authorities if presented with a court summons or similar legal or administrative order, or as required or permitted by the applicable laws, rules and regulations. Also, in the event of a violation of the terms and conditions of use of the Site or App or a violation of any restrictions on use of materials provided in or through the Site or App, we may disclose personal user information to our affected business partners or legal authorities.

TRANSFER OF INFORMATION

Information about our customers, including Personal Information, may be disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of company assets, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership in which Personal Information could be transferred to third parties as one of MHPL’s business assets. In such an event, we will attempt to notify you before your Personal Information is transferred, but you may not have the right to opt out of any such transfer.

CHILDREN

MHPL understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, particularly in their online interactions. This Site is not designed for and does not intentionally target or solicit to children of 18 years of age and younger.
